Im thinking of downloading Limewire and i have McAfee antivirus. Is it safe enough? If not recommend a free antivirus site thanks

You should be all set, limewire has a built in security program anyways, most bad files, will be represented with an icon, of a garbage can, letting you know, theyre potentially harmful to your system. I use limewire, but, im very good with computers, and choose not, to use any antivirus software. I clean my computer myself, lol. But, mcafee is a good program, much better than norton -.- But, yes, it is safe, to use limewire with mcafee, good luck.

get rid of limewire it likes to contract viruses that antivirus programs seem to trust, also likes plenty of malware, shareaza is a good p2p program that doesn't get viruses or spyware but gives you good speed and multiple networks to choose from

i use both all the time ... and when limewire says it's a bad file i just cancel the download...:-)

just make sure your mcafee is up-to-date...
